last day of using the PPK GPS and taking ablation measurements

Today we finished using the PPK GPS and took our last ablation measurements of the field campaign. Unfortunately it spitted on us most of the day, but luckily it didn't down pour until we were off the glacier. Regardless, we were still soaked by the time we got home. I'm not looking forward to putting on wet shoes, rain jacket, and pants tomorrow.

Tomorrow we will remove the GPS units and ablation stakes from the glacier and place them near the landing site for the helicopter. I'm a bit nervous about opening all the boxes containing the GPS units as I'm not sure they are on at this point. It's just like opening Christmas presents -- let's hope none of them are coal (dead batteries)!
