painting easter eggs

Today I tried my hand at crafts. A few friends and I gathered to paint easter eggs and make omelettes out of the remaining eggs. I haven't painted easter eggs since I was seven years old. Luckily none of our eggs broke while we were blowing out the yolks. Other than lacking the patience necessary to wait for the eggs to dry, the event was an all around success. As most of us were geologists, the eggs turned out as volcanoes, glaciers, the earth, and mountains. My egg, in fact, is probably the pinnacle of my artistic capabilities:
